Here's hoping this class will relieve your headache - or at least take your mind off it for the next half hour. We start with a breathing exercise to refresh us before we head into stretching. We do a couple gentle inversions (dropping head below heart; childs pose, quarter dog, rabbit pose) that are known to help with oxygen flow to the brain (please skip if you notice the pressure is too much).

Hip flexors (psoas), quad openers, lats, hamstrings and glutes plus a nice spinal twist. This is a short(ish) but effective stretch. Stay calm, your nervous system and hips will thank you.

the sequence - wake up (30 mins)
Initially intended for a morning practice but this class can be done anytime you need to wake the body. This is a gentle sequence that starts off with slow movements as we ease into the muscles and joints. Eventually we climb up into tree pose but Iād classify this sequence as an accessible class...

the stretch - easing back (20 mins)
This class is for the human who's easing back into gentle movement, perhaps after an injury or illness or even pre/post-natal. You can use a blanket or pillows for extra comfort if you'd like!
