Practice deep, full breaths that make their way to fill the front of the body. When the lungs fill deeply, the diaphragm (umbrella shaped muscle at the base of the lungs) lowers to make space, causing the belly to softly expand outwards. Belly breath activates the parasympathetic nervous system; our place of rest and digest, stress release and better sleep.
