Alternate nostril breathing is an ancient yogic practice otherwise known as nadi shodhana pranayama - meaning to "cleanse". Its also said to help balance the different hemispheres of the brain. Truly, the benefits that I most notice is that it keeps me present. I show you a couple different hand placements to accomplish this - more traditional and then a simpler version.
